Una idea muy clara: "Compra y usa sólamente lo que necesites y haz uso debido de cuanto adquieras" Esto puede por fín hacer y marcar una gran diferencia para reducir la enooorme montaña de basura que creamos cada día y que amenaza con destruir nuestro ecosistema. Como responsables, de un modo u otro, de toooodo lo que consumimos a diario, tenemos como diseñadores una gran responsabilidad para hacer que nuestras compras y las de los demás, sean ecológicas y amigables con el medioambiente. Pero muchos diseñadores y artistas están preocupados acerca del incremento de costes, así como la potencial pérdida de clientes y restricciones a la creatividad que todo esto pudiera acarrear.

One simple motto - 'Buy and use only what you really need and then get rid of it properly when you have finished with it' - could make a huge difference in helping to reduce the mountain of waste that is threatening to destroy our eco-system. As those responsible, in one way or another, for most of the products we purchase, designers bear a heavy responsibility to make sure that our shopping is environmentally friendly. But many are worried about the supposed higher costs, the potential loss of clients and the restrictions on creativity that this might involve.
